Bake with Grace

Collywobbles – Bake with Grace

Collywobbles is a very funny name for a biscuit, for anything, really. I have a very dear friend, who gave me this recipe. She has made these for about 50 years now. Whenever I make them, my kids argue over who is going to help roll the balls of dough.

My toddler never wants to roll, but rather tries to eat them while they are still hot.

This recipe makes about 40 biscuits, so it really keeps your tin stocked up for a while. One of these in a lunch box is sure to keep your kids happy.

300g cake flour

300g oats

300g butter

10ml syrup

10ml bicarbonate of soda

10ml milk
